About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of Liftoff's AMER event program, including industry conferences, sponsorships, and owned customer events such as summits, executive dinners, and roundtables.
  • Tailor event and campaign approaches for different audiences, verticals, and regional contexts, applying lessons learned to continuously refine the playbook.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that integrate events, email, content, webinars, and digital tactics to drive engagement with prospects, customers, and partners.
  • Collaborate with the content and communications team to produce high-quality thought leadership, blog posts, case studies, and event-related content that positions Liftoff as an industry leader.
  • Work cross-functionally with Revenue, Product Marketing, Brand, and regional marketing teams (EMEA, APAC) to align programs with sales priorities and business objectives.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the Revenue team, maintaining tight alignment with sales priorities, pipeline goals, and account focus to ensure marketing programs directly support key company initiatives.
  • Build and manage partner co-marketing programs and relationships that create mutual value and extend Liftoff's reach.
  • Track and analyze marketing KPIs, including generated and influenced revenue, engaged accounts, opportunity creation, and qualitative feedback from revenue teams, to measure impact and inform planning.
  • Manage event and campaign budgets, vendor relationships, and timelines with strong project management rigor.
  • Apply AI tools and workflows across your day-to-day work to increase efficiency, improve content quality, and surface insights from campaign data.
  • Stay informed about competitors, industry trends, and emerging marketing tactics to ensure Liftoff's programs stand out in a crowded market.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience with a focus on events, content, and campaign execution, ideally in adtech, mobile, or high-tech SaaS.
  • Proven event management expertise across the full lifecycle: strategy, logistics, vendor management, on-site execution, and post-event analysis. Experience owning both large-scale conference sponsorships and smaller owned events across multiple markets.
  • Holistic marketing acumen with a strong understanding of how events, content, digital, and partner channels work together to achieve business objectives. Able to share examples of campaigns that spanned multiple channels and explain why the approach was chosen.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience tracking and analyzing marketing KPIs (pipeline contribution, engaged accounts, opportunity influence) and qualitative feedback. Comfortable building or pulling reports in CRM and marketing tools.
  • Technical proficiency and ability to be self-sufficient with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, Splash (or similar event platforms), WordPress, and project management tools such as Asana or Jira.
  • Partner marketing experience with a track record of building productive co-marketing relationships and programs.
  • AI fluency and a demonstrated habit of using AI tools (e.g., LLMs, automation, analytics) to improve marketing workflows, content production, or campaign performance.
  • Creative, competitive instincts with the ability to help Liftoff stand out.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working cross-functionally alongside revenue, design, and product teams.
  • Willingness to travel for events and team gatherings.

Compensation

  • OTE (base + bonus) salary ranges: SF Bay Area, NYC, Los Angeles/Orange County, Seattle: $113,000 to $133,000
  • All other CA cities, Portland, All other WA cities, Denver, Austin, Boston: $103,000 to $122,000
  • All other cities and towns in approved states: $97,000 to $114,000
