Senior Systems Engineer
Designs and operates IAM infrastructure, with deep Okta expertise and responsibility for SaaS and endpoint management. The role requires 5+ years of IAM systems engineering experience, automation skills, and knowledge of identity protocols, governance, and compliance.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform lifecycles.
- Administer Okta, directory services, MFA, and password management.
- Manage Google Workspace, Microsoft O365, Slack, and Jira/Confluence.
- Oversee Mac and Windows endpoint management using Jamf and Microsoft Intune.
- Build automated provisioning, deprovisioning, and application-access workflows.
- Establish RBAC, entitlement reviews, and access certification processes.
- Lead technical onboarding of SaaS applications for SSO.
- Partner with Security to embed security best practices into IT infrastructure.
- Author technical procedures, engineering roadmaps, and compliance policies.
- Provide technical leadership and escalation support for complex IT operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of IAM systems engineering experience combined with broad IT infrastructure management.
- Deep hands-on experience configuring Okta, creating policies, and integrating applications.
- Strong knowledge of SAML, SCIM, OAuth, OIDC, IGA, RBAC, and LDAP.
- Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell, plus Okta Workflows.
- Experience managing Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Jamf, and Intune.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical engineering experience.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to operate with a compliance-first mindset in a heavily regulated industry.
Compensation
- Base salary range: $130,000–$170,000 USD.
- Additional compensation may include bonus and equity.
