Associate Technical Services Engineer II
Technical Services Engineers advise customers and solve complex MongoDB problems across database, drivers, Atlas, and Cloud Manager. Requires strong experience in systems, distributed systems, databases or performance, plus excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

- Work alongside largest customers, solving complex challenges on architecture, performance, recovery, security.
- Serve as expert resource on best practices for running MongoDB at scale.
- Advocate for customers' needs by interfacing with product management and development teams.
- Contribute to internal projects, including software development of support tools for performance, benchmarking, and diagnostics.
What you need
Strong technical experience in one or more of:
- Systems administration
- Distributed systems
- Network Administration
- Database architecture and administration
- Application Architecture
- Data architecture and design
- Performance tuning and benchmarking
Bonus: Experience in one or more of Java, Python, Ruby, C, C++, C#, Javascript, node.js, Go, PHP, or Perl.
For operations background, prefer experience administering large-scale production environments including hardware, operating systems (Linux, Windows), networks (firewalls, load balancers), and cloud resources (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Must have:
