LangChainLangChain

GTM Engineer

Builds AI-native agents using LangChain stack to power technical support, onboarding, and customer success, driving case deflection and self-service. Requires 3+ years engineering with 1+ year production LLM systems, Python/TypeScript proficiency, and self-directed builder mindset.

About the job

Responsibilities

  • Architect Customer Agents: Design and deploy production-grade agents (using LangGraph and LangSmith) that handle technical support queries, troubleshoot integrations, and guide users through complex onboarding flows.
  • Drive Case Deflection: Analyze customer friction points and build self-service AI systems that significantly reduce support volume while improving the customer experience.
  • Own the Domain: Act as the product owner and technical lead, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, propose architectures, and own the full lifecycle of systems.
  • Dogfood the Stack: Be a key member of the feedback loop for the product team, identify gaps in frameworks, and contribute to LangChain and LangGraph open-source ecosystem.
  • Build Onboarding Workflows: Develop "AI-native onboarding" experiences that automate documentation retrieval and code generation for enterprise customers.

Requirements

  • AI-Native Developer with deep understanding of LLM stack: prompting, retrieval (RAG), cognitive architectures, and agentic loops. Experience building with LangChain or LangGraph.
  • Strong software engineer (typically 3+ years) with at least 1 year shipping LLM systems in production.
  • Self-directed "Founder" mentality: comfortable with ambiguity, identifying high-impact problems, and driving to completion autonomously.
  • Full-stack capability: strong coding skills in Python or TypeScript (ideally both), ability to build end-to-end applications.
  • Customer-centric: translate customer technical pain points into scalable system architectures.

Nice to Haves

  • Expertise with LangSmith for evaluation and monitoring.
  • Experience building or maintaining open-source projects.
  • Background in technical consulting, solutions engineering, or high-growth GTM teams.

Compensation

  • Base salary: $160K - $180K
  • Meaningful equity, medical/dental/vision coverage, flexible vacation, 401(k), life insurance, meals on in-office days.
