Product Designer II
Owns end-to-end product design for feature areas of a data-heavy compliance platform, translating complex workflows into clear, intuitive experiences. Requires 3+ years of product design experience, strong research and prototyping skills, and experience with B2B, fintech, compliance, or similarly complex products.

Responsibilities
Design Judgment
- Make design decisions independently within the assigned feature area, applying and extending the design system as needed.
- Balance user needs, design quality, delivery speed, business priorities, and technical constraints.
- Identify usability issues before implementation.
- Develop domain expertise in compliance and verification workflows and connect design work to roadmap goals and quarterly objectives.
Execution
- Own medium-complexity projects end to end, from discovery and exploration through final design, implementation, and launch, with minimal oversight.
- Create user flows, prototypes, final designs, and documentation.
- Anticipate edge cases and non-happy paths in compliance software.
Customer and Data Insights
- Use customer conversations, usability testing, and product analytics to validate design decisions and identify problems.
- Partner with internal customer-facing teams to pressure-test findings from product data.
Communication and Influence
- Partner with product and engineering to clarify problems, requirements, constraints, and success measures.
- Explain design rationale clearly and contribute to product and planning discussions.
- Keep stakeholders informed about progress, risks, and open questions.
- Support newer designers through design reviews, feedback, and pairing.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a product designer, with a track record of shipping features and workflows to customers.
- Experience designing complex B2B, enterprise, fintech, compliance, identity, fraud, risk, or other data-heavy products.
- A portfolio demonstrating problem framing, research and data usage, solution exploration, and design decision-making.
- Fluency in interaction design, information architecture, visual design, and prototyping.
- Strong attention to edge cases and implementation quality.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Collaborative approach to working with product managers and engineers.
