Responsibilities
- Build the first version of an AI-native platform for go-to-market teams, spanning agentic orchestration, automation, and revenue-team interfaces.
- Embed with revenue teams to understand workflows and design and ship systems that materially improve how work gets done.
- Own technical direction, including architecture decisions, tooling, and engineering patterns.
- Move prototypes into production quickly and iterate as AI capabilities evolve.
- Anchor work to business outcomes and measure success by the value the platform unlocks.
- Partner with security and infrastructure teams to ensure systems are sound and supportable.
- Document technical decisions and tradeoffs clearly.
Requirements
- Staff-level engineering experience, approximately 8 years or comparable depth, with a history of owning systems end to end.
- Experience taking greenfield systems, early-stage products, or internal platforms from zero to one.
- Production experience building with LLMs and AI APIs, including prompt design, output evaluation, and reliability iteration.
- Fluency with AI-assisted development tools.
- Strong technical judgment and the ability to refactor and change direction as requirements evolve.
- Genuine interest in business operations and revenue-team workflows.
- Ability to work independently amid ambiguity and bring stakeholders along.
- Clear communication with engineers and non-engineers.
- Willingness to work across programming languages; current prototypes use React, TypeScript, and Python.
Nice to Haves
- Understanding of CRM and revenue data models, such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Experience as an early or founding engineer or as the builder of an internal tooling function.
- Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, and embedding-based search.
- Experience in marketplace or high-growth environments.
- Experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake.
