Director of Product Management

Leads Rasa’s product organization and platform strategy for enterprise conversational AI, while recruiting and developing product managers. The role requires 8+ years of product management experience, technical or developer-focused product expertise, and experience with enterprise software, cloud or on-premises deployments, and machine learning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product strategy across Rasa’s conversational AI platform.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing product management team.
  • Partner with engineering, sales, and marketing on go-to-market strategy, pricing, packaging, and launches.
  • Monitor AI market and competitive trends to inform product strategy.
  • Translate product, domain, and business requirements into actionable requirements and platform solutions.
  • Own the roadmap and product definition for the assigned area and contribute to broader product strategy.
  • Use research, customer feedback, competitive analysis, and market needs to guide decisions.
  • Iterate on prototypes using internal and external feedback.
  • Foster an ecosystem of developers, partners, customers, and community members.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience.
  • 2+ years leading or mentoring others.
  • Experience with B2B, developer tools, or technical products.
  • Proven ability to connect product decisions to business strategy and align cross-functional partners.
  • Experience managing products through the full lifecycle, from concept and launch to sunset.
  • Enterprise product management experience, ideally with enterprise-licensed software, on-premises deployments, or private/virtual cloud deployments.
  • Experience identifying, defining, packaging, pricing, and shipping software in cloud services, infrastructure products, and/or open-source products with machine learning at their core.
  • Experience engaging and enabling large developer communities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-growth startup with limited resources, imperfect information, and rapidly changing markets.
