Staff AI Product Manager

Leads vision, strategy, and delivery for a major area of an AI platform or agent, partnering with research, engineering, design, and go-to-market teams. Requires strong AI/ML fluency, product judgment, customer insight, and leadership in ambiguous technical environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a major area of Fin’s AI platform or AI agent, owning its vision, strategy, roadmap, and impact.
  • Develop deep customer, business, and technical understanding to make high-quality product decisions.
  • Collaborate with ML scientists, ML engineers, AI designers, and ML researchers to explore ideas, assess feasibility, evaluate trade-offs, and turn AI capabilities into product experiences.
  • Take AI concepts from exploration through production launch.
  • Run experiments, define success metrics, evaluate performance, and iterate on AI systems and user-facing features.
  • Partner with the core product organization to integrate AI across the platform.
  • Collaborate with go-to-market, marketing, support, and operations teams to drive adoption and customer impact.
  • Create alignment, communicate decisions clearly, and lead teams toward impactful outcomes.

Requirements

  • Strong technical fluency and deep experience with AI/ML products, ideally including generative AI.
  • Ability to discuss model behavior, evaluation, prompts, architectures, constraints, and trade-offs with technical partners.
  • Excellent product judgment across customer needs, business goals, and technical realities.
  • Strong problem-framing and customer-insight skills, using research, data, and direct customer conversations.
  • Ability to collaborate with engineering and design to ship high-quality software.
  • Experience testing, measuring, and iterating on AI systems and user-facing AI features.
  • Strong focus on safety, reliability, and customer value.
  • Strong communication, influence, leadership, ownership, and ability to create momentum in ambiguous environments.
