Responsibilities
- Develop the long-term vision and strategy for a pillar within the Local Payment Methods team, and create and execute a multi-quarter roadmap.
- Understand merchant and partner needs through collaboration with partnership managers, risk, legal, compliance, data science, engineering, product, and go-to-market teams.
- Drive adoption of strategic payment methods across the merchant base and unlock new distribution opportunities, including cross-border acceptance and recurring or agentic payments.
- Partner with Risk teams to implement controls and enforcement strategies that maximize approval rates while minimizing losses.
- Collaborate with product marketing and go-to-market teams to translate roadmaps into actionable narratives.
- Define valuable investments with product and engineering organizations, considering distribution potential, performance, costs, and risks.
- Develop joint product roadmaps with payment partners and navigate competing priorities.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert for strategic payment partners.
Requirements
- 8+ years in product management or a product-adjacent role, with a record of building impactful products.
- Experience partnering with engineers, designers, and external partners to build products and complex systems at scale.
- Ability to communicate with and influence user-facing and partner-facing stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities, including defining and tracking success metrics, running experiments such as holdback tests, and measuring impact on revenue, conversion, and margins.
- Experience aligning multiple stakeholders, developing joint roadmaps, and navigating competing priorities.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with significant autonomy and responsibility.
- Experience delivering multi-quarter roadmaps and aligning diverse stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and comfort with complex ecosystem and platform-level problems.
