Senior Staff Product Manager, Browser Control Platform
Own the strategy, architecture, and execution of Firefox’s secure browser-control platform, enabling internal teams and external AI tools to automate the browser. Requires a highly technical product leader with developer-platform experience and strong security instincts.

Responsibilities
- Own the shared browser-control foundation and the building blocks that other software uses to act inside Firefox.
- Ensure the platform is reliable and secure.
- Advance the WebDriver BiDi open standard and build Firefox-specific capabilities beyond the standard.
- Design safety controls that let people approve software actions, see when software is acting for them, and take back control.
- Define the strategy for major third-party AI assistants.
- Serve internal teams and external tools through one shared platform layer.
- Drive adoption, usage, reliability, and security across teams and tools.
Requirements
- Product-minded engineer or highly technical product manager able to drive a technical product.
- Experience in the developer space, with the range to consider consumers and internal platforms.
- Ability to set strategy in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Ability to own a technical contract on which other teams depend.
- Strong security and trust instincts.
Nice to have
- Web standards experience.
- Model Context Protocol (MCP) experience.
- Browser automation experience.

- Annual salary range of CAD 149,000–220,000.
