Sr. Manager, Field Engineering
Leads and scales a team of pre-sales Solutions Architects and Solutions Engineers supporting the UAE market from Paris or London. The role requires technical or consulting experience in data, databases, or data science, along with team leadership, sales partnership, and Arabic and English fluency.

Responsibilities
- Hire, mentor, and grow the pre-sales team serving the UAE market.
- Build a motivated, collaborative culture within the field engineering organization.
- Improve the return on investment of Solutions Architect involvement in sales cycles.
- Ensure solution- and value-based selling across the field engineering organization.
- Assess account needs and revenue potential in the assigned region.
- Engage customer executives to build and strengthen strategic partnerships.
- Align with partners and internal services to secure implementation strategies.
- Represent and strengthen the company brand as part of the regional leadership team, in partnership with Marketing and Sales.
Requirements
- Experience managing successful Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS professionals.
- Experience in consumption-based business environments.
- Experience mentoring and scaling technical teams.
- Experience establishing processes that improve technical field-team efficiency and product focus.
- Ability to collaborate with Sales and cross-functional leaders.
- Strong understanding of the data, AI, and cloud software markets, with the ability to articulate the value of data and AI solutions.
- Technical or consulting background in data engineering, database technologies, or data science.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience working with clients in the UAE.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
