Senior Manager, Solution Engineering EMEA
Leads and develops Sanity’s EMEA Solution Engineering team while participating in strategic presales opportunities. The role requires B2B SaaS leadership, strong API and modern architecture knowledge, and the ability to connect technical solutions to business outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of Solution Engineers across EMEA, including hiring, ramping, 1:1s, and deal reviews.
- Participate in the team’s highest-impact opportunities from discovery through close.
- Execute and reinforce presales motions including discovery, tailored demos, proofs of value, and architecture/security reviews.
- Coach SEs to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes for developers, architects, product leaders, and content teams.
- Drive consistent use of AI tools for call preparation, proof-of-concept and demo setup, and follow-up documentation.
- Own regional forecasting and pipeline hygiene for presales involvement; report on team performance and technical win rates.
- Partner with Sales leadership, Product, and Marketing across EMEA and route field feedback to the Senior Director of Solution Engineering.
- Maintain and improve presales enablement assets, including demo environments, collateral, and evaluation guides.
Requirements
- Experience managing or leading a Solutions Engineering or Presales team in B2B SaaS.
- Strong technical foundation in APIs, data models, front-end frameworks, integrations, and modern architecture patterns.
- Proven ability to improve team performance through coaching, hands-on deal support, and consistent execution of established presales processes.
- Ability to communicate clearly and inclusively, from deep technical detail to executive-level value narratives.
- Experience selling developer-facing, composable, or API-first SaaS platforms, such as content management or digital experience tooling.
- Familiarity with content workflows, editorial tooling, or digital experience stacks.
- Collaborative leadership style, high integrity, and commitment to developing others.
- Fluency with AI-based tools for technical evaluations, architecture discussions, research, and productivity.
