About the role

What You'll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle for enterprise accounts, from self-sourced lead generation and qualification through negotiation, closing, and renewals.
  • Build pipeline from ICP accounts through value-driven outbounding, research, networking, and disciplined prospecting.
  • Negotiate and close complex deals, handling objections and partnering with legal and finance stakeholders.
  • Manage executive relationships with C-suite decision-makers, drive measurable ROI, and turn deals into long-term partnerships.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to meet or exceed targets, including tailored presentations, proposals, and marketing campaigns.
  • Help define the sales motion as an early team member, shaping GTM operations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Solutions Engineering, Product, Engineering, and Marketing to ensure customer success and feed signals back into the product roadmap.
  • Leverage the executive team to accelerate deal cycles.
  • Represent Tavus at industry events to build the brand and drive top-of-funnel.

What You'll Bring

  • 4+ years in an enterprise, customer-facing sales role with a strong track record of identifying and closing large, net-new accounts.
  • Experience in complex solution sales, managing a $1M+ quota and consistently closing six- and seven-figure deals.
  • Consistent performance against pipeline-generation targets for net-new business.
  • Proven prospecting and lead-generation skills through research, networking, and outbound efforts.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • An analytical mindset to read market trends, spot opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.

Even Better If You Have

  • Experience selling Conversational AI.
  • Experience as an early sales hire at a fast-growing startup, including building GTM strategies, sales teams, and motions from scratch.
  • Familiarity with the AI landscape, key players, emerging trends, and category direction.
