Director, Pharmacy Supply Chain
Leads the buildout of OpenLoop’s demand and supply planning function, owning S&OP, forecasting, network capacity allocation, inventory, cost, and planning risk. Requires 8+ years of supply chain or operations experience, team leadership, and experience creating planning cadences from scratch.

Responsibilities
- Build and own the S&OP and demand-planning cadence, including authoritative demand inputs, planning outputs, capacity reviews, and planning KPIs.
- Own forecast accuracy by translating commercial projections into capacity, production, and consumable requirements by SKU, state, and titration.
- Provide reliable forward-looking visibility to fulfillment partners, pharmacy sites, and Procurement.
- Own network volume allocation across partner capacity, SLA performance, cost, and state licensure.
- Optimize inventory and manage costs in partnership with Finance.
- Lead, hire, structure, and develop the planning team.
- Identify and mitigate demand and supply-continuity risks.
- Partner with Product on forecasting and planning tools and data, including Zoho and Tableau.
- Document planning processes, cadences, and models in systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years in supply chain, demand and supply planning, or operations, including 3+ years leading teams.
- Experience hiring teams, managing performance, and developing employees.
- Experience building an S&OP or demand-planning cadence from scratch.
- Deep demand and supply planning experience, including translating forecasts into capacity, production, and sourcing requirements.
- Experience scaling high-volume operations through rapid growth, preferably in mail-order or specialty pharmacy, fulfillment, distribution, or regulated manufacturing.
- Strong analytics and modeling skills, including presenting forecast assumptions and risks to Finance.
- Experience owning inventory and cost outcomes with Finance.
- Comfort partnering with Product on planning tooling and data.
- Excellent cross-functional leadership and influence without authority.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, flat-structure environment.
Nice-to-haves
- 503A compounding pharmacy, pharmacy, healthcare, or regulated-industry experience, including 503B, PBM, mail-order Rx, or cGMP.
- Formal S&OP or IBP experience.
- APICS, CPIM, or similar certification.
- Inventory and cost optimization experience.
- Experience with Zoho Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, or SQL.
- Continuous-improvement or Lean experience, including Six Sigma.
