Global Operations Associate
Own end-to-end global freight operations across ocean and air shipments, coordinating carriers, vendors, customs, and clients to deliver high-quality, on-time service. Requires 2+ years of logistics or supply chain experience and strong communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
- Own and execute the end-to-end movement of global freight shipments within a regional network, including ocean LCL/FCL and air imports and exports.
- Ensure shipments move on time, handle exceptions appropriately, and meet internal KPIs and SLAs.
- Follow standard operating procedures and maintain a compliance-first approach.
- Own the client experience by resolving issues quickly and ensuring smooth operations at origin and destination.
- Coordinate daily logistics operations with steamship lines, air carriers, intermodal and drayage vendors, customs, trade lane management, warehousing, transloading, trucking, and air operations teams.
- Assist with partner-managed shipments and support partner autonomy where applicable.
- Quote and invoice client shipments with responsibility for the associated P&L.
- Prepare for QBR and MBR presentations and lead client operational calls when necessary.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, ocean carrier operations, or consulting.
- Ocean freight knowledge is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Fluent English communication, both verbal and written.
- Strong time management, prioritization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to new technology and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication in client-facing interactions.
- Teamwork, relationship-building, and receptiveness to feedback.
- Problem-solving skills and an orientation toward process improvement, best practices, and standardization.
