Responsibilities
- Process and file customer tax payments accurately and on time using multiple technology platforms.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to support seamless tax operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, identify root causes, and implement preventative measures.
- Improve processes and efficiency, including identifying appropriate opportunities to use AI.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support for customers’ tax needs.
- Investigate process errors and help prevent recurrence.
- Liaise with tax agencies and internal teams to represent customers accurately.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for process and strategy improvements.
- Build and implement scalable operational processes.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in operations or payroll, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- A customer-first, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Strong problem-solving and process-improvement skills.
- Strong organization, prioritization, task-management, and adaptability in ambiguous situations.
- Strong teamwork, collaboration, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and adopt new software, tools, and AI-powered platforms.
- Working knowledge of Excel.

Compensation
- Denver and most major metro locations: $23.50–$27.42 per hour.
- Los Angeles: $24.36–$28.42 per hour.
