Leads and mentors a software engineering team building reliable, high-performance simulation products, while guiding technical execution, prioritization, and hiring. Requires a bachelor’s degree, programming experience in C++, Python, or Java, people-management experience, and eligibility for a US Government security clearance.

Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of software engineers.
- Partner with a product manager to build products within the Axion and/or VehicleSim product lines.
- Provide technical guidance, prioritize effectively, and apply best practices to complex software systems.
- Own the technical direction and execution of a critical revenue-generating product.
- Interview and recruit engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, robotics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of people management experience.
- Programming experience with C++, Python, or Java.
- Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance.
Nice to Have
- Experience working directly with end users.
- Experience building software for technical end users.
- Experience with performance-oriented simulation software.
Compensation and Benefits
- ATS salary range: $185,000–$230,000 USD base salary.
- Compensation may also include equity, health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off.
