Responsibilities
- Co-lead a cross-functional team with product management, aligning strategy, priorities, and success metrics.
- Drive projects from specification through implementation, experimentation, analysis, and ongoing ownership.
- Ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, observability, and operational excellence.
- Use data and rapid experimentation to inform decisions; design A/B tests with analytics and data science partners.
- Attract, grow, and retain diverse engineering talent through coaching and career development.
- Set engineering quality standards and processes while managing technical debt and product quality.
- Collaborate with product, design, research, data, and engineering teams.
- Define team OKRs, prioritize work, and remove roadblocks.
Requirements
- Experience leading, managing, hiring, developing, and retaining software engineers.
- Track record of shipping multi-engineer, multi-week projects with measurable business impact.
- Strong product instincts and experience in experimental, data-driven environments.
- Experience defining metrics and running A/B tests with analytics or data science partners.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Technical depth to guide architecture and implementation trade-offs and mentor engineers.
- Ability to work from or relocate to New York, NY.

Compensation and benefits
- Base salary range: $182,800–$247,300 USD.
- Base salary is supplemented by equity compensation.
