Responsibilities
- Help develop and execute Kalshi's politics social media strategy across X and other platforms, with a focus on growing our presence in political communities
- Assist in identifying and building partnerships with political creators, commentators, journalists, and influencers on both sides of the aisle
- Serve as a thought partner on growth activation strategies heading into the 2026 Midterms, bringing ideas on how to capture attention during key political moments
- Track which races, candidates, and political storylines are driving the most engagement on Kalshi and translate that into targeted growth strategy
- Monitor political social media trends in real time and help the team move quickly when opportunities arise
- Support cross-functional collaboration with Growth, Markets, and Product team
Requirements
- Deep passion for politics: you know the key races, the major players, and the influencers shaping the conversation on both sides of the aisle
- Familiarity with prediction markets and how they work; prior trading experience on Kalshi or other platforms is a plus but not required
- Strong understanding of political social media
- A bias toward action and a resourceful, figure-it-out mentality
- Strong collaborator who works well across teams and communicates clearly
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program
Compensation
- Pay Range: $20 to $30 per hour. This internship does not offer full-time eligibility, and thus, you will not be eligible for benefits.
