Responsibilities
- Ensure shipments move on time and exceptions are handled appropriately.
- Meet internal KPIs and SLAs demonstrating quality delivery.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Resolve client issues quickly, ensure smooth operations at origin and destination, and escalate issues as needed.
- Coordinate day-to-day logistics operations with ocean carriers, cartage partners, customs, and warehouses.
- Execute the end-to-end movement of freight within a regional network.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 5 years of global forwarding or related work experience.
- 4+ years of experience in ocean freight, import compliance, or warehousing is encouraged.
