Supports global systems integrator partners through technical onboarding, enablement, demonstrations, proofs of value, and solution adoption. Responsibilities
- Ensure successful onboarding, training, enablement, and certification of partner technical resources.
- Participate in joint business planning and review sessions to align Datadog and partner technical teams.
- Support partner technical initiatives, including end-customer demonstrations, proofs of value, enablement workshops, and technical assessments and coaching.
- Advocate for partners’ technical concerns, use cases, feature requests, and support issues with internal Datadog teams, helping drive them to resolution.
- Analyze partner service offerings and recommend ways to increase the value of those services through improved adoption of Datadog features and capabilities.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and technical services teams to identify and prioritize new features and capabilities.
- Curate and evolve best practices for Datadog platform adoption and customer success.
Requirements
- Solid technical grounding with hands-on experience in IT development and/or operations.
- Typically 10–15 years of experience in a customer- or partner-facing technical role.
- Demonstrated track record and passion for continuous learning.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to articulate technical value from the server room to the boardroom.
- Confident presentation skills.
- Hands-on experience in at least two of the following areas:
- Observability: Datadog, Splunk, AppDynamics, New Relic, or Dynatrace
- Public cloud: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Alibaba Cloud
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Cloud Foundry
- Development and scripting: Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, PHP, or Go
- Configuration management: Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- CI/CD: Jenkins or GitLab
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working in a technical role for or supporting channel partners, such as systems integrators or managed service providers.
- Experience using Datadog or other cloud monitoring tools, including APM, infrastructure monitoring, logs, synthetics, or network performance monitoring.
- Experience with root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging.
