Responsibilities
- Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Applied AI Architects.
- Define and refine the operating model and strategy for Applied AI Architecture across Europe.
- Partner with Sales leadership and Account Directors to prioritize accounts, allocate technical resources, and establish technical strategies for complex engagements.
- Own technical account plans, milestones, adoption priorities, account health, and expansion opportunities across strategic customer portfolios.
- Lead customer journeys from executive vision and business outcomes through use-case qualification, solution evaluation, governance, deployment, adoption, and measurable impact.
- Coach the team on AI architectures spanning models, applications, data, integration, identity, security, privacy, governance, evaluation, reliability, and deployment.
- Build relationships with C-suite, board-level, and senior AI, technology, data, security, and engineering stakeholders.
- Mobilize deployment, implementation, enablement, Product, Engineering, Research, Security, Legal, Privacy, and partner teams to remove blockers.
- Establish portfolio-health reporting covering production readiness, adoption, usage, risks, customer impact, and technical contribution to growth.
- Translate field patterns into feedback for Product, Engineering, Research, and go-to-market teams, and develop reusable architecture guidance.
- Promote responsible AI deployment, clear ownership, effective prioritization, and strong specialist handoffs.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles such as solutions architecture, solutions engineering, technical account leadership, AI deployment, or technical consulting.
- Experience working with large and complex enterprise customers.
- 4+ years of people-management experience, including hiring, coaching, and developing customer-facing technical teams.
- Experience guiding enterprises from technical discovery and evaluation through production adoption, healthy usage, and measurable business impact.
- Deep technical knowledge of modern AI systems, frontier models, agentic applications, platform technologies, software and cloud architecture, APIs, data integration, identity, security, privacy, evaluation, and enterprise deployment.
- Excellent executive communication and presentation skills, with credibility among technical executives, boards, business leaders, and engineers.
- Ability to manage complex portfolios, make resource-allocation decisions, and balance regional strategy with hands-on support.
- Strong architectural judgment and ability to coach teams, involve specialists, and establish clear handoffs.
- Ability to build partnerships across Sales, Product, Engineering, Research, Deployment, Security, Legal, Privacy, and external partner ecosystems.
- Comfort leading across European markets and adapting to different industries, cultures, regulatory contexts, and customer operating models.
- Customer-centric approach focused on responsible production adoption, technical excellence, and long-term partnerships.
