FP&A Lead

Responsibilities

  • Own company-wide financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, including revenue, headcount, and operating expense models.
  • Build and maintain financial models for a fast-growing business.
  • Partner with executive leadership and department leads to translate financial analysis into actionable recommendations.
  • Lead the monthly and quarterly close-to-reporting cycle, including variance analysis and performance reporting against budget and forecast.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools for real-time visibility into business health.
  • Analyze new initiatives, pricing decisions, and growth opportunities to inform strategic and operational decisions.
  • Support fundraising, board reporting, and investor relations with financial materials.
  • Improve financial processes, systems, and reporting infrastructure.
  • Manage and mentor finance team members as the function grows.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or a related field, with meaningful FP&A ownership.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and experience building models from scratch.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to turn raw data into clear recommendations.
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership and communicating financial concepts to non-finance audiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with ambiguity.
  • Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills.
  • High attention to detail and ownership of accuracy and data integrity.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with financial planning or business intelligence tools such as Adaptive Insights, Looker, or Tableau.
  • Experience managing or mentoring finance team members.
  • Familiarity with prediction markets, trading, fintech, or cryptocurrency.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: $175,000 to $275,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.
