Pricing & Packaging Ops Manager - Contractor

Leads cross-functional SaaS pricing and packaging rollouts, from competitive research and analysis through CPQ implementation, collateral, enablement, and pilot testing. Requires 5+ years in pricing, GTM operations, or strategy consulting and strong project and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

  • Project-manage execution of the pricing and packaging rollout across IT/Systems, Sales Enablement, Deal Desk, Customer Experience, Finance, and Legal.
  • Track workstreams, identify risks early, and recommend alternatives and tradeoffs.
  • Build and maintain internal pricing artifacts, including enablement decks, FAQs, rollout timelines, and training materials for Sales and Customer Success.
  • Manage development of external pricing collateral, including pricing pages, one-pagers, and sales guides.
  • Partner with Deal Desk and Systems on CPQ configuration, SKU bundling, and contract updates; translate pricing decisions into implementation requirements.
  • Conduct competitive pricing and packaging research and synthesize public pricing data into comparisons.
  • Support pricing analysis by organizing data for ASP, win-rate, and deal-size questions and flagging notable patterns.
  • Manage pilot testing, including recruiting pilot accounts, tracking feedback, and developing go/no-go recommendations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in pricing, sales/GTM operations, or strategy consulting.
  • Direct experience with SaaS pricing and packaging.
  • Ability to independently conduct competitive pricing scans and basic ASP analyses.
  • Experience at a pricing consulting firm or leading a pricing or packaging redesign for a platform or data-products company.
  • Strong project-management and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Finance, IT, and Legal without direct reporting authority.
  • Ability to turn complex inputs into clear status updates and decision documents.
  • Bias toward action and effective prioritization with incomplete information.

Compensation

  • Annual salary range: $156,000–$187,200.
