Forward-Deployed Engineer , Strategic Accounts
Build and deploy production voice AI solutions, integrations, tooling, and agents for strategic enterprise customers. The role combines hands-on engineering, customer-embedded delivery, production debugging, platform feedback, and regular on-site collaboration.

Responsibilities
- Build and ship end-to-end services, integrations, internal tooling, voice agents, and prompt-engineering solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain production-scale integrations with point-of-sale, loyalty, payment gateway, and customer data systems.
- Work regularly on site with strategic customers and their technical and business teams.
- Monitor, debug, and optimize production systems, including challenging audio environments such as noisy, multi-mic, and drive-thru settings.
- Collaborate with research and product teams to extend the platform based on customer needs.
- Test changes against live production data and measure accuracy, latency, and throughput.
- Support solution scoping, statements of work, expansion opportunities, product feedback, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Comfort working directly with customer technical and business teams in an embedded, high-autonomy environment.
- Willingness and ability to be on site at least once or twice monthly, with increased travel during launches, critical integrations, and high-stakes pilots.
- Ability to build, integrate, debug, and ship production software.
- AI-first mindset and comfort rapidly adopting new AI tools and workflows.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with voice AI, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, or voice agents.
- Experience integrating point-of-sale, loyalty, payment, or customer data platforms.
- Experience with prompt engineering, evaluation, production monitoring, and live data testing.
Compensation
- Salary: $197,000-$246,000.
