Responsibilities
- Provide travel support via chat, calls, and email.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of suppliers, destinations, and systems.
- Assess customer needs, urgency, and preferences.
- Handle hotel, flight, car, and rail bookings accurately.
- Guide customers through self-service options on the Navan platform and app.
- Respond promptly while meeting SLA expectations.
- Follow company and customer policies and maintain global compliance.
- Provide stakeholders with feedback on goal progress and key processes.
- Participate in team meetings covering products, suppliers, and industry updates.
- Stay current on travel-industry best practices.
- Maintain attendance, complete assigned training, and meet performance metrics.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Travel Consultant covering air, rail, and hotel bookings.
- 3+ years of experience with a GDS such as Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo.
- Fluency in English and German.
- Experience in a contact center or other customer-facing role.
- Comfortable using Gmail, Zendesk, Slack, and Salesforce.
- Availability to work rotating shifts Monday through Sunday between 7 AM and 11 PM.
- Ability to multitask, resolve urgent matters quickly, and troubleshoot independently.
- Empathetic, professional, and highly effective verbal and written communication.
- Candidates must reside in Portugal or be willing to relocate.
