Staff Product Manager

Lead product initiatives for Onebrief's AI-powered military planning and collaboration software. Work directly with operators to elicit requirements, translate into solutions, and create seamless user experiences across squads. What You'll Do

  • Lead product initiatives that make military staffs superhuman and bring people home safely.
  • Work alongside the operators who imagined and built Onebrief - the product they needed.
  • Work across our squads, rotating fluidly across domains, using a product perspective to create a seamless user experience.
  • Conduct thorough research to elicit requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
  • Apply a design thinking approach to problem solving: iteratively seek to understand users, challenge assumptions, redefine problems, create innovative solutions, prototype, and test.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive understanding of the current state of web technologies and best practices; forever experimenting with what’s next.
  • Naturally inclined to apply design thinking to problem solving.
  • Attention to detail and pragmatism.
  • Crisp, clear, concise communications, both written and orally.
  • Owner’s mentality; comfortable sharing ideas and perspective with the C-suite; take accountability when they reflect in the real-world.
  • Experience developing B2B/SaaS products using modern collaboration tools.
  • Collaborative, work iteratively, scrappy and solutions-oriented.
  • Understanding of or interest in the military and defense tech space.
  • Thrive as a self-starter, embracing autonomy and ambiguity.
  • U.S. citizen.

  • Speak the language of engineers and designers, without relying too heavily on them to devise and evaluate solutions.
  • Intellectual honesty, personal integrity, curiosity, and EQ.
