Director, Product Management
Leads Zoox’s Product Management organization across vehicle definition, rider experience, and service offerings. The role owns product strategy and lifecycle delivery while developing talent, improving product discipline, and partnering with engineering and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the Product Management organization, mentoring team members and fostering an inclusive environment.
- Develop and execute product strategy aligned with company vision and objectives.
- Translate market trends, customer insights, and technology advancements into a product roadmap.
- Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation through launch, ensuring delivery within budget and timelines.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, experience, marketing, operations, Go-To-Market, Brand, and Strategy teams.
- Improve product-management processes and tradecraft to support scalability, stability, reliability, safety, and continuous innovation.
- Identify opportunities to grow the business and enhance customer experience efficiently.
- Serve as a visible spokesperson and evangelist for the product and company mission.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a senior product leader in fast-paced, product-driven technology companies.
- Track record of leading product organizations that deliver innovative and commercially successful results.
- Domain expertise in complex hardware/software systems, consumer electronics, connected devices, automotive, autonomous vehicles, and/or mobility.
- Experience taking products from concept through delivery and successful commercialization at meaningful scale.
- Product vision, roadmap discipline, and ability to manage release trade-offs.
- Startup experience and experience with larger organizational scope preferred.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with ambiguity, complexity, and limited resources.
- Demonstrated ability to attract, retain, and develop top product talent.
- Technical credibility with engineering teams and a strong focus on customer outcomes.
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence technical and non-technical executives.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in mobility-as-a-service, ridesharing, or a related field.
- Experience managing a single product portfolio.
- Experience in rapid-growth environments.
- Engineering background.
Compensation
- Annual salary: $335,000–$403,000.
