Leads end-to-end onboarding for institutional counterparties, designing scalable workflows, coordinating legal and compliance requirements, and representing the company to sophisticated financial clients. Requires 7+ years in financial services and strong KYC, KYB, and AML expertise.

Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end institutional onboarding process, from initial outreach and documentation collection through account activation and first trade.
- Design and implement scalable onboarding workflows that reduce time-to-live without sacrificing compliance requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for institutional clients during onboarding, setting expectations and keeping engagements moving.
- Coordinate with legal, compliance, and product teams to resolve blockers, negotiate documentation requirements, and ensure institutional accounts meet required standards.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of institutional prospects moving through onboarding; report status, conversion rates, and bottlenecks to leadership.
- Identify onboarding delays and improve internal processes, documentation, or product escalations.
- Define institutional success with operations and growth teams and ensure a clean post-onboarding handoff.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in financial services, including meaningful experience in client onboarding, institutional sales support, or operations at a bank, brokerage, exchange, or fintech.
- Deep familiarity with KYC, KYB, and AML processes.
- Experience owning a client-facing process end to end.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple institutional onboardings simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and building structure where little exists.
- Clear, direct communication with sophisticated financial counterparties.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience at a crypto exchange, prediction market, or alternative trading platform.
- Familiarity with CFTC-regulated entities and documentation requirements for derivatives or swaps trading.
- Experience hiring and managing a small operations or onboarding team.
