Responsibilities
- Manage the software renewal process for assigned accounts, ensuring timely and successful contract renewals.
- Engage clients about usage, concerns, upgrade options, renewal terms, pricing, and contractual agreements.
- Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities for software licenses, modules, and services.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for existing clients.
- Develop account plans and strategies to achieve renewal and expansion objectives.
- Monitor account usage, health, revenue performance, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates using CRM and reporting systems.
- Research industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors across corporate, higher education, and K-12 sectors.
- Maintain relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders and serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, legal, finance, Customer Support, and Implementation teams.
- Travel up to 25% to meet partners and attend industry events.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in sales or account management, ideally in SaaS.
- Proven track record of exceeding quotas through relationship building.
- Ability to explain complex software solutions clearly and communicate their value to clients.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and sales productivity software.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to independently manage a territory and own results.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
Compensation
- Annual salary: $75,000–$80,000.
