Requirements
- 10+ years in enterprise B2B sales, including 4+ years leading strategic or named-account teams in high-growth SaaS, developer platforms, or AI-adjacent technology.
- Track record of leading teams to close deals at $250K–$1M+ ACV and achieve consistent quota attainment above 100%.
- Ability to personally source and close executive-sponsored deals in cold or strategic accounts.
- Experience leading teams through 3–9 month sales cycles with multi-threaded buying committees spanning security, procurement, legal, economic buyers, and executive leadership.
- Genuine day-to-day fluency with AI tools.
- Strategic account management approach focused on becoming embedded in a customer's roadmap.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling developer tools, infrastructure, or AI platforms to technical buyers, including CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and CPOs, alongside security, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
- Existing network among enterprise decision-makers in financial services, media, healthcare, or technology.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategic account portfolio end-to-end, personally sourcing and closing executive-sponsored deals from first contact through signed contract.
- Hire, develop, and coach the first cohort of strategic and enterprise Account Executives, holding the team to a $2M–$4M+ individual quota bar.
- Land and expand the largest accounts across financial services, media, healthcare, and enterprise technology.
- Create strategic account plans mapping multi-threaded buying committees to identify whitespace and unlock expansion.
- Build presence in key markets through executive relationships, events, community, and partner co-selling.
- Work with the AMER Sales Leader to shape the strategic accounts playbook.
- Represent the company as a credible, technically fluent voice with enterprise buyers through procurement and renewal.
Initial Projects
- Build the US founding strategic accounts team.
- Map and prioritize the enterprise TAM, identify the first 20 strategic accounts, and create an account plan for each.
- Run 5+ executive discovery sessions during the first 30 days.
- Design the US strategic accounts model, including account planning, executive engagement, partner relationships, and the AE hiring profile.
