Senior Named Account Executive - High Tech
Senior account executive responsible for acquiring, expanding, and renewing strategic high-tech enterprise accounts through consultative, technically informed SaaS sales. Requires 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, a record of exceeding large quotas, complex deal expertise, and C-suite engagement.

Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain a territory plan to exceed quarterly sales targets and annual quota.
- Drive new business acquisition, customer expansion, and renewals within the territory.
- Build sales pipeline through AE-led outbound, BDR, channel, and marketing inbound funnels.
- Use a deep technical understanding of customer problems to drive consultative sales.
- Craft and communicate compelling value propositions for Cloudflare services.
- Run a consistent sales process, including forecasting, next-step management, and contract negotiations.
- Build strategic relationships with key accounts to support adoption, retention, and expansion.
- Evaluate usage trends, articulate customer value, and provide recommendations during business reviews.
- Network across business units and engage new divisional buyers.
- Position Cloudflare One and the Connectivity Cloud across target customers.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to share customer feedback and improve customer experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience selling B2B SaaS.
- Strong B2B discovery skills.
- Ability to develop industry perspectives and client-centered change narratives.
- Track record of exceeding annual targets of $1 million or more and managing complex six-figure deals.
- Experience engaging C-suite stakeholders and managing complex sales cycles.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Tableau, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Compensation and Benefits
- For New York City-based hires: estimated annual salary of $269,000–$360,000, including on-target incentive compensation under the Sales Compensation Plan.
- Eligible to participate in Cloudflare's equity plan.
