Senior Compiler Engineer
The senior compiler engineer will optimize code generation for Quadric’s neural processing unit, develop LLVM compiler passes, and co-design compiler strategies with hardware engineers. The role requires at least five years of compiler experience, strong C++ skills, and expertise with LLVM or GCC.

Responsibilities
- Enhance the development of Quadric’s LLVM compiler.
- Collaborate on developing the programming model for Quadric’s high-performance computing platform.
- Collaborate with the hardware design team to co-optimize compiler strategy with hardware architecture.
- Build custom front-end and back-end LLVM passes.
- Support internal and external customers.
- Optimize code generation to improve the performance of code running on the Quadric processor.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science.
- Minimum of five years of compiler experience.
- Proficiency in C++11 or later.
- Experience with an LLVM or GCC codebase.
- Strong background in graphs and related algorithms.
- Knowledge of front-end and back-end compiler techniques.
Nice to Have
- Experience developing compiler strategies for data-parallel processors such as GPUs or DSPs.
- Knowledge of end-to-end toolchains, including compilers, linkers, and debuggers.
