Responsibilities
- Lead engineers, define, build, and drive multi-quarter technical strategy for user-facing features across the product.
- Collaborate with Design, Product, and AI teams on high-impact initiatives.
- Help define and evolve architecture for a fast-moving, AI-powered application.
- Hire, grow, and retain exceptional engineers.
- Foster a culture of simplicity, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to code and architecture reviews, unblock teams, and lead by example when needed.
- Align product initiatives with company goals through cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience as a backend engineer.
- 3+ years of experience in a software engineering management role leading product engineering teams, preferably in high-growth environments.
- Track record of leading high-performing, engaged engineering teams.
- Strong product sense and ability to balance speed, quality, and user impact.
- Experience with backend systems and modern cloud-native infrastructure.
- Ability to anticipate scaling bottlenecks and take decisive, proactive measures.
- Experience building RAG pipelines and managing the data lifecycle.
- Must be authorized to work in India; visa sponsorship is not available.
