Responsibilities
- Build performant visualization frameworks in both C++ / OpenGL and Unity to serve multiple critical functions like autonomy development and validation, triage tools, and in-car visualization.
- Partner with Autonomy engineers to improve their development workflow with better visualization.
- Collaborate with ML Labeling teams to gather high-quality training data with bespoke labeling tools.
- Interface with product managers and designers to build polished visualizations for external applications.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software development experience in C++, OpenGL, and QT.
- Basic understanding of graphics concepts (e.g., rendering pipelines, shaders, coordinate systems).
- Prior experience with visualization apps or game engines (OpenGL, Vulkan, Unity, Unreal).
- Deeply technical: enjoy working through thorny performance problems in low-level code, and working with advanced language features.
- Strong communication skills and effective collaboration with diverse colleagues.
- Mentorship and feedback skills; always improving team’s products, people, and processes.
Compensation
- Base pay range: $193,930 - $291,150 (depending on experience, qualifications, education, location, skills).
- Eligible for annual performance bonus, equity, and competitive benefits package.
