Responsibilities
- Understand existing architecture and data to improve entity-resolution and matching results.
- Extend architecture to address customer matching needs and infrastructure contexts.
- Build scalable entity-resolution and matching services supporting multiple applications, millions of users, and billions of documents.
- Design software solutions for scalability, performance, and reliability using industry best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders on the roadmap for matching algorithms.
- Implement low-latency, relevant solutions using large-scale data systems and machine learning.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend approaches for complex technical challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of software development experience, focused on large-scale backend services for customer-facing applications.
- Strong Java 8+ and Spring experience.
- Experience building data infrastructure in cloud-native environments using Google Cloud or AWS.
- Expertise designing, developing, and maintaining complex distributed systems in large-scale production environments.
- In-depth knowledge of Elasticsearch, Solr, or the Lucene framework.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience delivering high-quality SaaS solutions.

- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Compensation
- Base salary: $112,000–$176,000 USD.
- Additional compensation may include bonus, commission, equity, and benefits.
