Responsibilities
Strategic Engineering Partnership
- Partner with senior Engineering and Product leaders to translate business and technical priorities into people and organizational strategies.
- Advise on talent and workforce investments, including build, buy, and partner decisions.
Leadership Advisory & Organizational Effectiveness
- Coach senior leaders on leadership effectiveness, team performance, and complex people decisions.
- Shape organizational design, roles, and operating models.
- Develop leadership and senior technical talent, succession, and organizational capability.
Workforce & Talent Strategy
- Identify capability, capacity, succession, and retention risks through workforce and talent planning.
- Shape workforce composition, location strategy, and talent approaches.
Data & Organizational Insights
- Use people and business data to assess organizational health, talent trends, leadership effectiveness, and workforce risks.
- Translate insights into recommendations that influence leadership decisions.
Change, Transformation & M&A
- Lead people strategy for transformations, restructures, mergers and acquisitions, and organizational integrations.
- Support due diligence, talent assessment, organizational design, integration planning, retention, leadership alignment, and cultural integration.
- Advise leaders through change while maintaining business continuity and employee engagement.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with People Experience, Finance, Legal, Corporate Development, Product, and other functions.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that strengthen scalable people practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- 12+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience, including support for Engineering, Product, AI/ML, Platform, or other highly technical organizations.
- Experience partnering with VP- and Director-level leaders on people strategies.
- Deep experience in organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, change management, and leadership coaching within scaling technology organizations.
- Experience supporting people-related M&A activities, including due diligence, integration planning, talent assessment, retention, organizational alignment, and cultural integration.
- Experience advising senior leaders through rapid growth, transformation, restructuring, or integration.
- Experience operating within a global People organization and leveraging Centers of Excellence and Shared Services.
- Understanding of technical talent markets, job architecture, leveling frameworks, and compensation principles.
- Ability to use workforce analytics and people data to diagnose challenges and influence decisions.
- Exceptional consulting, coaching, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.

- Experience supporting high-growth or rapidly scaling technology organizations.
- Experience partnering with Software, Product, AI/ML, Platform, or Services organizations.
- Pre-close diligence and post-close M&A integration experience.
- Experience supporting global or geographically distributed teams in matrixed organizations.
- Expertise in organizational effectiveness, operating model design, team effectiveness, and organizational diagnostics.
- Experience using people analytics, workforce insights, and business metrics for talent and organizational decisions.
- Familiarity with AI and its implications for workforce strategy, skills, and organizational design.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
Compensation
- Annual salary range: $170,000–$250,000.
