Responsibilities
- Set the Fleet Operations training strategy and roadmap to support hiring plans, new-market launches, and vehicle/software milestones while maintaining safety standards.
- Own curriculum standards, assessments, certification requirements, learner and performance metrics, pass-rate monitoring, and recurring upskilling tied to operational errors, quality programs, and safety signals.
- Scale train-the-trainer programs and audit delivery across remote operations centers and ground-operations sites.
- Partner with workforce, operations, safety, process, learning and development, and business applications teams on training capacity, facilities, vehicles, and content.
- Operate the Docebo learning platform, including auto-enrollment, learning plans, certification-to-mission mapping, administrator enablement, integrations, and analytics.
- Hire, coach, and organize training program managers and people leaders; establish reporting structures and advocate for trainer ratios and training assets.
- Build training infrastructure for new sites, including classrooms, courses, dedicated training vehicles, and simulation or virtual environments.
- Report training capacity, time to competency, certification status, quality, and launch risk to Fleet Operations leadership.
- Travel to operational sites approximately 10–20% of the time for audits and launches.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in operational training, enablement, or learning for a large operations workforce.
- 3+ years leading trainers, instructional staff, or training program managers as a people manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience owning training for a large remote, contact-center, or 24/7 operations workforce, or for a technical ground workforce such as maintenance, repair, field service, aviation MRO, or vehicle operations.
- Experience building blended programs involving e-learning, live facilitation, on-the-job training, and train-the-trainer delivery across multiple sites.
- Hands-on LMS administration at scale, including reporting, auto-enrollment, and certification tracking.
- Experience aligning training capacity with hiring and launch plans, including management of vehicles, facilities, and trainer ratios.
- Ability to operate in safety-critical, regulated, and fast-changing environments and translate procedure or product changes into training.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to influence senior operators, safety, workforce, and technical partners in a matrixed organization.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10–20%.
Nice-to-haves
- CPTM, ATD/CPLP, PMP, or similar certification.
- Autonomous vehicle, robotics, aviation, or other safety-critical operations experience.
- Instructional design and SCORM or Rise 360 authoring experience.
- Quality assurance, nested monitoring, or contact-center workforce-management experience.
- Simulation-based training experience.
- Experience with contingent workforce or staffing partners.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, and BI/Looker-style training analytics.
