Solution Engineer
The Solution Engineer supports pre- and post-sales automotive customer engagements across vehicle operating systems, tooling, simulation, and autonomy products. The role requires at least four years of automotive software or technical customer-engagement experience, strong programming and communication skills, and the ability to manage complex technical programs.

Responsibilities
- Support pre-sales and post-sales customer engagements across Vehicle OS, self-driving systems, and tooling.
- Conduct technical discovery, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept work across the product suite.
- Adapt technical depth to the product pillar most relevant to each customer or opportunity.
- Build cross-pillar proposals for engagements spanning multiple product areas.
- Work with product and solution specialists to ramp up on new product areas.
- Manage multiple concurrent customer engagements and maintain clear internal stakeholder communication.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in automotive software development or technical customer engagement, spanning more than one product domain.
- Strong automotive software foundations, including the ability to engage on E/E architecture, ADAS validation, and/or autonomy systems.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technical domains quickly and apply them in a customer-facing context.
- Track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder technical programs.
- Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Programming experience in Python and/or C++.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- German and/or an additional European language is a significant plus.
Nice to Have
- Experience spanning Vehicle OS/SDV/IVI and ADAS simulation/tooling.
- Prior solution engineering, field application engineering, or technical pre-sales experience.
- Experience at an OEM, Tier 1, and/or automotive technology company.
- Familiarity with AUTOSAR Classic and/or Adaptive.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262, SOTIF, or ASPICE.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: €80,000–€130,000.
- 30 days of paid vacation per year.
