What You'll Do
- Go deep on complex, technical workflows and understand the product surface end to end, including how customers use it.
- Own ambiguous problem areas outright, partnering with engineering and product to create clear direction and ship high-quality work quickly and iteratively.
- Contribute novel ideas and patterns that define how AI-native workflows should work in practice.
- Raise the level of the team through insight and perspectives, beyond just execution capacity.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of experience (exceptional candidates with less considered case by case).
- Exceptional taste with strong product and design judgment, fundamentals, and modern design sensibility.
- AI-forward: design with and around AI-augmented workflows.
- Rigorous thinker who frames ambiguous problems clearly and asks sharp questions.
- Systems thinker with range, balancing creativity and product insight.
- B2B/enterprise background designing for products like Linear or Vercel (not legacy enterprise software).
- Comfortable designing highly technical products and workflows.
- Fluent in AI with up-to-date intuition for AI products, tooling, and workflow design.
- Provably original work that has introduced new ideas, patterns, or ways of thinking.
- Fast in fast-moving, iterative, high-velocity product organizations.
Strong Candidates May Also Have
- Experience at companies known for distinctive product craft or novel UX patterns (e.g. Linear, Vercel, next-gen AI product companies).
- Experience designing AI-native, workflow-heavy, or developer-facing products.
- Track record of shipping in ambiguous, high-ownership environments.
- Portfolio showing both strong thinking and real execution.
- Technical fluency (CS background, building own tools, or years on developer-facing products).
