Responsibilities
- Design scalable, reliable systems for contracting, subscription management, invoicing, billing, and revenue recognition.
- Own projects end-to-end, from design through production, with visibility into business outcomes.
- Establish high standards for code quality, testing, and technical documentation.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and foster technical excellence.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and platform teams to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Define architecture, make technical tradeoffs, and contribute hands-on code across systems involving contracts, entitlements, subscriptions, usage metering, invoices, payments, taxes, revenue data, audit trails, and billing experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Experience designing and developing scalable distributed systems or SaaS platforms.
- Experience with reliability engineering, incident response, performance tuning, observability, and operational excellence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
