Staff-level engineer owning major product surfaces across the stack, building spreadsheet-grade interfaces, robust data models and APIs, and AI-native features. The role requires experience shipping complex B2B products, strong technical judgment, customer empathy, and a builder’s mindset.

Responsibilities
- Own features end to end across product lines, from understanding problems with stakeholders through launch and iteration.
- Build performant, spreadsheet-grade user interfaces over large financial datasets.
- Design data models and APIs that support multiple product lines, including streaming results and long-running processes.
- Build AI-native product features involving orchestration, tool calls, and retrieval.
- Raise the engineering bar through excellent code, thoughtful reviews, and clear communication.
- Work directly with customers to understand problems before writing code.
- Drive adoption of systems by teams outside your immediate organization.
Requirements
- Experience shipping highly intuitive, detail-oriented products.
- Experience building across the stack and creating systems that support more than the immediate feature.
- Strong fundamentals across the UI, API, and data-store layers.
- High agency and a builder's mindset, with experience as a founder, engineering lead, or startup builder.
- Pragmatic approach to selecting simple, effective tools.
- Strong focus on code quality, correctness, and maintainability.
- Clear, direct, and persuasive communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience building complex B2B products, ideally from scratch.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience building products for financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
- Experience with AI-native product development, including orchestration, tool calls, and retrieval.
