Responsibilities
- Manage multiple teams transforming large raw data inputs into enriched data that powers the core product.
- Set the vision for full-stack architecture across software combining AI, human operations tools, and large data pipelines.
- Partner with product managers, operations managers, designers, and customer success to design and deliver functionality at scale.
- Organize and grow the engineering team to meet business needs.
- Support team members' career progression.
- Execute strategic initiatives pragmatically.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to plan, design, and execute strategic priorities.
- Create technical roadmaps and resource plans.
- Hire and onboard team members with a high hiring bar.
- Develop people through formal and informal feedback and career growth plans.
- Build a strong team culture.
- Contribute an engineering perspective to business strategy.
- Implement processes and technologies, including AI tools, to optimize velocity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience managing managers.
- 10+ years of engineering leadership experience, including building large-scale customer-facing products.
- Technical depth in operations engineering or a similar discipline, big data pipelines, and AI/ML.
- Experience building products using AI/ML.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with computer vision and/or video processing.
- Knowledge or experience in the construction domain.
