Owns production support, administration, controls, and automation across Vercel’s finance systems, with NetSuite as the core platform. Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end production support for Finance systems, resolving tickets and delivering durable resolutions.
- Administer and troubleshoot NetSuite, Zip, Stripe, Ramp, Navan, and related finance tools, including user provisioning, access requests, and cross-system incidents.
- Configure and tune Serval, the AI-powered ticketing platform, and identify opportunities to automate support.
- Design and build AI agents and internal tools for Finance Transformation workflows, including v0 dashboards, change-management review agents, and backlog-triage automation.
- Reimagine project intake so Finance and company stakeholders can submit and track requests seamlessly.
- Maintain financial systems controls, including role-based access, segregation of duties, change management, system documentation, and SOX/audit support.
- Support systems-related month-end close activities and operational readiness.
- Coordinate with vendors, IT, and Security on cross-system or integration issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in financial systems administration and support.
- Deep hands-on experience administering NetSuite.
- Experience managing a shared ticket queue and multiple concurrent systems and stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to build practical solutions or automate workflows.
- Understanding of finance processes, especially procure-to-pay (P2P) and record-to-report (R2R).
- Ability to troubleshoot complex cross-system issues, identify root causes, and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
- Availability for standard hours of 9:30 p.m.–6:00 a.m. IST to support PST stakeholders, with extended PST-aligned hours during month-end close.
Nice-to-haves
- NetSuite Administrator, SuiteFoundation, or SuiteCloud Developer certification.
- SuiteScript and workflow customization experience.
- Experience at private companies operating with public-company standards.
- Familiarity with integrations and data flows across billing, payments, procurement, and close systems.
- Ability to read and write basic SQL queries.
