Engineering Manager, FDE Infrastructure
Leads a team of Forward Deployed Engineers delivering North across private-cloud and on-premises customer environments in EMEA. The role combines people management with hands-on enterprise deployment, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, scaling, and customer success responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Forward Deployed Engineers across EMEA.
- Drive end-to-end deployment of North in private cloud and on-premises environments.
- Own customer success from technical implementation through delivery.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales to shape enterprise AI delivery.
- Mentor the team on cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and enterprise-grade deployments.
- Optimize performance for OpenSearch, databases, and other Kubernetes services.
- Define scaling guidelines for GPU and CPU compute resources.
- Build scalable processes and technology for a rapidly growing organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with demonstrated leadership.
- Hands-on experience deploying enterprise software at scale.
- Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience managing engineers in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- High agency and a strong doer mentality.
Nice to Have
- Fluency in additional European languages.
- Experience with AI/ML infrastructure.
- Background in enterprise security and compliance.
