Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack
Builds and optimizes full-stack features using TypeScript, Python, React, and AI tools on a flow-based calculation engine. Collaborates with PMs and customers; requires 5+ years experience with databases, APIs, and high-uptime codebases for hybrid SF/NYC work.

Responsibilities
- Collaborating with engineers, product managers, and customer-facing teams to implement new product functionality from start to finish, including tech planning, progress reporting, tests, and validation.
- Utilizing AI tools (Cursor, Claude Code) to improve process and efficiency.
- Writing performant TypeScript and Python code across the stack.
- Implementing logic for Parabola flows and genericizing shared logic.
- Optimizing services for scalability, stability, and observability.
- Helping define team processes and practices for growth.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack experience in team-based, high-uptime, continuously-delivered codebase.
- Experience with relational databases, REST APIs, and OOP principles.
- Experience working with AI/LLMs professionally (building AI tools or using AI to augment work).
- Enthusiastic communicator comfortable in large or small teams.

Compensation
- Salary range: $180,000 - $200,000 (San Francisco and New York).
- Includes equity and premium health/wellness benefits.
