Senior Software Engineer, Financial Sync
Build and scale a full-stack financial synchronization platform connecting Tabs’ billing workflows with external ERP and general-ledger systems. The role requires 5+ years of software engineering experience, TypeScript or a similar language, relational database expertise, and strong end-to-end ownership.

Responsibilities
- Build the next generation of the Financial Sync ERP platform, enabling vendors to create integrations within Tabs.
- Ship features that support customers’ complex financial workflows.
- Improve the usage-to-billing pipeline by ingesting raw usage events, aggregating them, and converting data points into dynamic pricing.
- Work across the stack, including front-end configuration surfaces such as an in-app workflow builder, backend services, and event-ingestion infrastructure.
- Own systems end to end, from design through production operations and edge cases.
- Mentor engineers, raise the technical bar, and help shape engineering culture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience with TypeScript or a similar language, with willingness to work across the stack.
- Understanding of best practices for querying relational databases.
- Ability to design maintainable, correct, and scalable systems.
- Strong communication, collaboration, systems thinking, and ownership skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with high-volume data ingestion.
- Familiarity with Tabs’ technology stack: TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, React, Next.js, Java, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, or ClickHouse.
- Interest in accounting and financial systems.
