Solutions Engineering Manager, APAC
Leads a team of solutions engineers and oversees technical discovery, demonstrations, integrations, pilots, and customer value delivery across APAC. Requires 7–10+ years of solutions engineering experience, people leadership, API and integration expertise, and strong cloud architecture and security knowledge.

Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a high-performing team of solutions engineers through mentorship, coaching, talent development, and performance management.
- Serve as the primary technical advisor for a territory or segment and customer relationships.
- Lead technical discovery, custom product demonstrations, use-case workshops, pilots, and technical scoping for pre-sales engagements.
- Connect prospects and customers to new data sources, including custom integrations.
- Use sales methodologies such as Command of the Message and MEDDPICC to improve deal inspection and technical and business value delivery.
- Identify expansion opportunities within customer install bases.
- Collaborate with sales and services to align and execute Glean and customer priorities.
- Troubleshoot, prioritize, and escalate customer issues to support satisfaction and retention.
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Support to improve customer satisfaction and prioritize product enhancements.
- Contribute to the customer technical community and promote industry best practices.
Requirements
- Pre-sales or post-sales solution consulting experience in a rapidly growing software company.
- Proven people leadership, talent development, and performance management experience.
- 7–10+ years of solutions engineering experience, including complex deals and cross-functional collaboration.
- API and integration experience in hybrid or SaaS environments.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture, security, networking, and cloud and on-premises environments.
- Deep integration architecture and API expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or Microsoft Azure.
- Cloud security, information security, and audit experience, including representing technical and audit frameworks to customer stakeholders and executives.
- Strong technical understanding of company products and services.
- Project planning, execution, prioritization, and resource-allocation skills.
- Excellent active listening, communication, presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- High emotional intelligence, a proactive and self-motivated approach, and a data-driven mindset.
