Director of Sales
Own the full sales cycle for net-new hospital and health system accounts at Clarium. Run high-volume outbound prospecting while navigating complex deals with C-suite stakeholders (CFOs, CIOs) in large IDNs, translating AI supply chain platform value into financial terms.
About the job
Responsibilities
- Run a high-volume outbound motion (calls, email, LinkedIn) to build and manage a healthy pipeline of health system prospects.
- Navigate and sell into complex, multi-stakeholder health systems, from supply chain directors up to CEOs, CFOs, Surgical Services and PeriOperative and CDIOs.
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demo, negotiation, and close — for net-new hospital and health system accounts.
- Translate Clarium's value into financial and operational terms that resonate with C-suite buyers.
- Partner with founding and revenue leadership to refine messaging, positioning, and sales process as the team scales.
- Keep accurate, up-to-date pipeline and forecast data to support accurate revenue planning.
- Build a repeatable playbook for selling into healthcare providers that others on the team can follow as we grow.
Requirements
- Healthtech Startup experience: you've sold in an environment without a fully built-out playbook, brand recognition, or a large SDR/marketing engine behind you. You THRIVE in the gray and have a high degree of ownership with every action you take.
- Deep experience selling to large health systems/IDNs; existing champions in the marketplace who can guide you and give you solid entry points for new sales. Bonus points if you have CFO relationships.
- Proven ability to run high-volume outbound activity while also comfortably navigating and closing C-suite (CFO/CIO-level) conversations.
- A track record of full-cycle ownership: prospecting, qualifying, and closing, not just working warm inbound leads.
- A hunger for ownership and impact; someone who wants their work to visibly shape the business, not just execute against a quota.
- You appreciate the grind, sarcasm, direct feedback and a team environment.
Nice-to-Haves
- MEDDICC, BANT, or other sales frameworks.
- A deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem.
- Proforma and/or business case development.
- Fluent in AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT.
Compensation and Benefits
- Target Base Salary Range: ~$150-200K base, $300-350K OTE.
- The base salary Clarium offers may vary depending upon the ultimate scope and responsibilities of the position and on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
- The total package will include equity, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
- Incentive Stock Options proportionate to your salary.
- Fully remote, with a NYC co-working space available; distributed team across multiple time zones with opportunities for in-person time.
- Unlimited PTO.
- Top-tier health, vision, and dental benefits.
- 401K.
- The opportunity to build on a strong foundational team with deep data and engineering roots at a stage where your work genuinely shapes the product.
- A fast-paced, high-growth environment where we move quickly to solve critical healthcare challenges.
- The chance to empower frontline healthcare workers by automating the administrative friction in their day-to-day.
- Collaborative work alongside a high-caliber team of clinicians, engineers, and revenue leaders.
- Market-competitive base salary tailored to your expertise and the scope of the role.
- Top-tier health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
- A commitment to diversity, actively seeking out voices and backgrounds underrepresented in healthtech.
- A culture built on camaraderie, direct feedback, and celebrating our collective wins.
