Responsibilities
- Architect and scale the SOX compliance program by designing, developing, and maintaining AI-driven testing.
- Test controls for core business processes, including financial reporting, revenue recognition, payroll, and equity compensation, using agentic AI systems.
- Collaborate with Finance and Accounting, Sales, People & Culture, Legal, and other stakeholders to strengthen controls and improve business processes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for AI and automation in risk management.
- Contribute to innovation and excellence within the Risk Advisory and Assurance team.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in a Big Four accounting firm, internal audit, and/or compliance function.
- Experience supporting internal controls and SOX testing in the technology industry; platform-company experience preferred.
- Controls testing experience covering business-process controls, entity-level controls, application controls, and key reports.
- Ability to assess complex processes and identify risks and automation opportunities.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools and prompting, such as Google AI tools, ChatGPT, or specialized AI audit tools.
- Critical-thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, adaptability, and comfort with ambiguity.
